Audit, finance and risk
The trust seeks a trustee with strong audit, finance and risk experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in a charity or non-profit organisation, as well as demonstrating experience from a commercial, retail or industry setting, including evidence of contribution to growing a business, chain of businesses or franchises, as well as experience of head office and organisational development, including driving efficiency improvements in central services.
Education and School Improvement
The trust seeks a trustee who possesses skills and experience from across the educational landscape, with a specific requirement for school leadership. Experience of working in a role with responsibility for school improvement is welcomed.
Business, Governance and Human Resources
The trust seeks individuals who possess a strong ‘general’ skillset from across the business sphere, with a specific requirement for growth management. Experience working in a role with responsibility for corporate governance, legal services or human resources would be valuable.
Commitment
Trusteeship is a voluntary, unpaid role for people who have the energy and skills to make a real contribution to shaping the future of our schools. You do not need to have any specialist knowledge of education.
The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per month during term time as a minimum. Board meetings are held at the Trust’s registered office at Ashton Sixth Form College (OL6 9RL), mainly in the evenings.

Stamford Park Trust Sport, Community & Leisure manage and operate various school and college venues across Tameside. The dual working approach of providing outstanding sporting facilities for students alongside opening the venues up to our local communities to access high quality health, wellbeing and sport provision is our key goal.
This post is a multi-site role where you will be at the forefront of ensuring each of our venues is open to our community club bookings providing high standard of customer service, facility upkeep, facility supervision and become a key asset and input into our facility development plans on this exciting journey.

We require a Library and Study Centre Manager to help manage the college library and learning centres as well as to supervise and support centre staff in the running of the facilities. You will be an experienced librarian or learning centre manager who has strong experience in supporting and developing services and cultivating a strong customer service culture. You will have a degree in the field of library studies accredited by CILIP, or other ICT related subject. The successful candidate will have experience of developing learning resources. Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple teams across the college. The post is term time only plus 10 days.

Science Technician (part time)
There is the opportunity to make this a full time role to include Design & Technology Technician.
Support and training will be given as required.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and multi-skilled Science Technician, to join Science Faculty.
You will be working under the direction of the Faculty Leader for Science to assist with the organisation and
preparation of lessons, working closely with staff and pupils. Other duties include basic housekeeping,
stock control and maintenance of equipment. The role is varied and demanding with no two days the
same. A science background, or experience in a similar role within a school environment would be

We are on a journey to provide the highest standards of pastoral care to our students. The role is varied and will focus upon personalised Inclusion support for individual students, small groups and daily operational support for the school’s pastoral and inclusion systems. Work includes delivering individual and small group developmental programmes, working with inclusion leaders to resolve student conflict and where appropriate providing additional support within the classroom environment and at lunch and break times.
