Audit, finance and risk
The trust seeks a trustee with strong audit, finance and risk experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in a charity or non-profit organisation, as well as demonstrating experience from a commercial, retail or industry setting, including evidence of contribution to growing a business, chain of businesses or franchises, as well as experience of head office and organisational development, including driving efficiency improvements in central services.

Education and School Improvement
The trust seeks a trustee who possesses skills and experience from across the educational landscape, with a specific requirement for school leadership. Experience of working in a role with responsibility for school improvement is welcomed.

Business, Governance and Human Resources

The trust seeks individuals who possess a strong ‘general’ skillset from across the business sphere, with a specific requirement for growth management. Experience working in a role with responsibility for corporate governance, legal services or human resources would be valuable.

Commitment

Trusteeship is a voluntary, unpaid role for people who have the energy and skills to make a real contribution to shaping the future of our schools. You do not need to have any specialist knowledge of education.

The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per month during term time as a minimum. Board meetings are held at the Trust’s registered office at Ashton Sixth Form College (OL6 9RL), mainly in the evenings.

Stamford Park Trust Sport, Community & Leisure manage and operate various school and college venues across Tameside. The dual working approach of providing outstanding sporting facilities for students alongside opening the venues up to our local communities to access high quality health, wellbeing and sport provision is our key goal.

This post is a multi-site role where you will be at the forefront of ensuring each of our venues is open to our community club bookings providing high standard of customer service, facility upkeep, facility supervision and become a key asset and input into our facility development plans on this exciting journey.

-  You will take pride in ensuring the facility is clean, tidy and set up for each of our bookings and community users

- You will take a pro-active approach to facility supervision and customer liaison

- Be able to priorities & complete a range of maintenance and facility upkeep tasks from pitch maintenance tasks to sporting equipment day to day maintenance checks and basic repairs

- Have a positive approach to the health, sport and leisure sector as we help support our communities and schools becoming more physically active.

- Be able to work well independently and have good time management skills.

- Understand and share the vision of our goal to provide high quality health, wellbeing and sport facilities to provide the best provision and outcomes for our students and wider community across each venue.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist Teacher of SEND with QTS (Primary or Secondary experience) to play a key role in shaping the development of a high-quality, inclusive SEND provision at Longdendale High School. Longdendale High School is a popular comprehensive 11-16 Academy set at the edge of the Peak District on the border of Tameside and Derbyshire. We have a current intake of eight hundred students with cohorts typically above the national average in terms of prior attainment.

To ensure the school environment is welcoming, clean and safe we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic candidate to join our cleaning team.

Working effectively, alongside other members of the team, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of all areas of the school, including classrooms, stairs, toilets and corridors. 

Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.   A willingness to be flexible in your approach, acting in a professional manner, paying attention to detail, and having the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations and health and safety guidelines are all qualities, which are essential. 

The post which is 10 or 15 hours per week is to be worked during term time as directed by the Site Managers/Operations Manager to ensure the needs of the school are met.   An additional 3 weeks worked in the main summer holidays will also be required.

We are seeking two individuals to join our Local Governing Body (LGB) as governors.

Joining the LGB is a vital role in our vision of Excellence and Ambition for all. 

As a governor, you will have a significant impact on students, staff, and the community by upholding the highest standards and embodying our vision and values.

This is a voluntary, unpaid position for individuals who are energetic and skilled, and who want to contribute to shaping the future of our schools. No specialist knowledge of education is required.

The minimum time commitment is approximately 4 hours per month during term time. Board meetings are held in the evenings.
