Stamford Park Trust launches inaugural Aspiring Leaders Programme
In January, Stamford Park Trust launched its inaugural Aspiring Leaders Programme. Designed by educational leaders for educational leaders, the programme reflects the Trust’s ongoing commitment to high-quality professional development and continuous improvement. It offers a structured and supportive pathway for colleagues at any stage of their leadership journey, whether they are just starting out or ready to move into middle or senior leadership roles.
We are delighted to welcome 13 colleagues to the first cohort of this programme. Over the course of January, participants will commit to six sessions, which will support them in building their leadership capability, confidence and impact.
Grounded in evidence-informed practice, the programme is suitable for leaders from all phases and sectors. Each session will provide valuable insight and practical tools to support effective leadership in schools. Additionally, colleagues will complete a leadership impact project within their own school or setting, which will aim to tackle a ‘persistent problem,’ allowing them to apply their learning in real time. Throughout the programme, colleagues will have opportunities to connect and network with peers across the Trust. This collaborative element strengthens relationships across our academies and supports shared learning, professional dialogue and a collective focus on wellbeing.
Sessions cover a range of key leadership themes, including:
Codifying leadership
Building and leading effective teams
Having difficult or challenging conversations
Developing strategies to inspire high performance
Through this Aspiring Leaders Programme, Stamford Park Trust is equipping colleagues with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to drive improvements across our schools and the wider Trust - ensuring that excellence, ambition and opportunity continue to thrive at every level of our organisation.
