FAIRFIELD HIGH SCHOOL DELIVERS OUTSTANDING OUTCOMES FOR DISADVANTAGED PUPILS

16 February 2026

We are delighted to share that the Secretary of State, through the Department for Education, has recognised Fairfield High School for Girls as a school delivering exceptional outcomes for disadvantaged students. In its communication, the DfE commended Fairfield for “demonstrating strong attainment outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.” This recognition places Fairfield among schools nationally whose work in tackling disadvantage and raising achievement is making a measurable difference.

This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of staff, the ambition we hold for every student, and the strength of partnership between school, families and the wider community. Ensuring that disadvantage is never a barrier to success remains central to our mission, and this recognition affirms the impact of that commitment. Every lesson delivered, every intervention planned, every conversation of encouragement and every moment of care has contributed to this success. It is the result of sustained, collective effort - staff working together with a shared purpose to secure the very best outcomes for pupils.

This recognition reflects the Trust’s commitment to equity and excellence, and we are incredibly proud of all colleagues at Fairfield whose professionalism, expertise and commitment have made it possible. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all staff and pupils at Fairfield High School for Girls on this well-deserved and outstanding recognition.
