Continuing a Culture of Excellence Across Stamford Park Trust
At Stamford Park Trust, we believe that student voice is more than just being heard – it’s about creating real opportunities for leadership, growth, and influence. Across all our schools, we actively empower students to take on meaningful roles, helping shape their school communities while developing the confidence and skills to lead.
We are proud to celebrate the recent appointments of two outstanding student leaders at Ashton Sixth Form College: Khadija, our newly elected Student Council President and former Head Girl at Fairfield High School for Girls, and Jamie, the new Vice President and a former Student Council member at Longdendale High School.
Their appointments are a powerful reflection of the leadership journey that begins in our secondary schools and continues through to post-16 education. They demonstrate the Trust’s commitment to nurturing ambition and providing a consistent culture of leadership and excellence at every stage of a young person’s educational experience.
Both students have built on the foundations developed during their time at their respective high schools, bringing valuable experience, confidence, and a strong belief in the power of student voice. Their election to these influential roles at Ashton Sixth Form College highlights the Trust’s dedication to fostering future leaders and giving students real platforms to make an impact.
We are incredibly proud of Khadija and Jamie and look forward to seeing the ways they will enhance student life at Ashton Sixth Form College – while continuing to inspire and empower younger students across Stamford Park Trust.
