Attendance Matters - Across Stamford Park Trust

13 March 2026

At Stamford Park Trust, we are committed to supporting every student to achieve their best. Regular attendance is a vital part of learning, personal growth and enjoyment at school. To celebrate and encourage consistent attendance, our schools have launched fun and rewarding initiatives that will run from February to May, to help motivate students while highlighting the importance of being present every day.

Fairfield High School is proud to launch 'Every Day Counts,' a vibrant initiative to promote attendance and celebrate dedication. Students can enjoy exciting activities such as Lollipop Friday, Interform Egg Decorating and Reward Breakfast. The term ends with the biggest reward of all - the Roller Disco Event, reserved for students who achieve 100% attendance and two or fewer Fall Points this half term.

At Longdendale High School, the 'Legacy Levelling Up' initiative gives students the chance to enjoy daily rewards while building strong attendance habits. Students can treat themselves to doughnuts and pick ‘n’ mix, earn Early Lunch Passes and compete for gift cards and Legacy Points. All of this leads up to the GR8 Easter Hunt, featuring Pizza and Disco Lunch, and the Golden Ticket Assembly.

Rayner Stephens High School, ‘Expectations and Rewards’ initiative offers a range of engaging activities, from a trophy filled with sweets and free breakfast to Year Group Prize Draws. The term ends with an exciting trip to Alton Towers. This is reserved for students who achieve at least 95% attendance, have no suspensions and keep IEX visits to fewer than four. Students are encouraged to see attendance as a chance to learn, participate fully and enjoy the benefits of hard work and dedication. These initiatives also promote personal growth, teamwork and supporting one another.

Across Stamford Park Trust, our school-led attendance initiatives support students and celebrate their efforts. Being present at school is about more than lessons - it’s about building confidence, taking part fully and enjoying the rewards of commitment and perseverance.

We are excited to see all our students engage in as we nurture a culture of responsible, ambitious and motivated young citizens across the Trust.
